In a heartfelt gesture of compassion and support, the Chiggy Nsofor Foundation successfully conducted an inaugural outreach program in Plateau State reaching several families in need. The Food Relief initiative aimed to supply essential food items to families in underserved communities in the region.
This initiative, carried out in collaboration with dedicated volunteers, distributed vital supplies including rice, garri, salt, beans, corn, cooking oil and children’s snacks to families both facing economic hardships and insecurity. These items were joyously received by the beneficiaries. Beneficiaries trooped into Tuwan in Plateau state from Changal, Kikau, Gaude, Kinat, Tul kinat, Jwak maitumbi communities.
Plateau State, known for its diverse cultures, has also experienced its share of socio-economic challenges. The Chiggy Nsofor Foundation’s intervention highlights its commitment to addressing some of these issues and improving the quality of life for the vulnerable in the state.
